Special Service District

Utah County Garbage Waste Special Service District was created to provide essential solid waste services for the community. We also build long-lasting relationships with our customers, recognizing our highly committed employees, and investing in the communities in which we operate.

We Ship 600 Tons of Garbage

Utah County Garbage Transfer Station is located at 2000 West 200 South in Lindon, Utah. It was established in 1994. Formerly, all of the collected waste was shipped by rail to the ECDC landfill located in Sunnyside, Utah.

In the winter of 2006, we started shipping our waste by truck to Wasatch Regional Landfill, located in Grantsville, Tooele County. July 2018, we started shipping the waste to the Bayview Landfill located near Elberta. We do this on a daily basis, Monday through Friday, where more than 600 tons of garbage is shipped to the landfill.
