Public Hearing Notice
The Administrative Control Board of the North Pointe Solid Waste Special Service District will hold a public hearing on November 20, 2023, for the purpose of hearing comments on a potential fee increase:
- Proposed Landfill Tipping Fee Increase
- Proposed 2023 Amended Budget
- Proposed 2024 Budget
The public hearing will be held in the Cedar Hills main office conference room, 10246 N Canyon Road, Cedar Hills, Utah on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
This notice is hereby provided in accordance with the provisions of the "Fiscal Procedures for Special Interlocal Entities" and Utah Code Section 11-13-531.

Transfer Stations
Initially, all of the waste collected was shipped by rail to the ECDC landfill located in Sunnyside, Utah. In the winter of 2006, we discontinued using rail and started shipping our waste by truck to Wasatch Regional Landfill located west of Grantsville in Tooele County. July 2018, we started shipping our waste to the bayview landfill near Elberta.
From Monday through Friday, 600+ tons are shipped to the landfill. North Pointe Solid Waste Special Service District was created to provide essential solid waste services for the community. Our transfer station is an environmentally safe place for residents and businesses alike.
